crochet saw scarf patternHow cool is this scarf?! Definitely a head turner for sure. Dripping with crochet blood and complete with handles. It is The Saw That Dripped Blood…SCARF! I wish I had run into this a little earlier in the month for all those of you that were looking for fun Halloween projects. But, you could be like me and wear cool stuff like this all year long. After all, what fun is it if you can’t wear a blood dripping scarf to the office every now and then. Finally you can wear a saw around your neck without needing an affordable life insurance plan. LOL

Oh and while you’re at Monster Crochet getting your bloody saw pattern don’t forget to grab the free patterns for severed fingers and needle felted eyeballs to go along with it! Spooktacular! :-) Now if I only possessed the required crocheting skills …..

Check out this easy lattice scarf pattern - it’s so quick and simple you’ll be wanting to make another in no time.

It’s easiest to work in a regular acrylic, but of course I had to try something different and opted for 6 ounces of a sport weight chenille instead and a 4mm hook.  Don’t worry about gauge with this scarf, it’s an open and lacy pattern.

This is how I did it…Chain 30.

Big-Needle Knits money-saving combo

  1. Slip stitch into 10th chain from hook, *chain 5, skip next 4 stitches, slip stitch in next chain, repeat from * ending with slip stitch in last chain. Turn. (more…)
