August Cross Stitch Fabric Giveaway!
Time for the August Fabric Giveaway! This month we’ve got a package of 4 different beautiful fabrics, all from my favorite fabric shop, Silkweaver Fabrics. This contest will run from August 07, 2009 through August 21, 2009.
The picture doesn’t do them justice… but the flash and the lighting just would not cooperate with me today.
So, here’s the lineup….
Hand Dyed Solo (the orangish variant, perfect for Halloween designs~!) 28 count Lugana
Remembrance Rose 28 count Luguna
Dapple Grey 28 count Permin Linen
Peach Crystal 28 count Cashel Linen
If you’re an evenweave stitcher that avoids linens because of the “unevens” I have to mention that Cashel is really, really even and smooth and soft! You’ll love it. <3 The Permin isn't too bad either, nicely spaced and pretty darn likable.

Hi, I would like to enter and thank you for the gret chance. So :Remebranse Rose of course for roses, Peach fabric for stitching some samplers in brown, grey -ornament in white and the last one – hand dyed – for some autumn pattern
I’d use the rose for a breast cancer project, as well as for Valentine’s 2010 gifts. I’d use the peach for exchange projects. I’d use the Halloween one for several primitives–freebie sampler, pillows and such. I’d use the gray for single color French-style projects: white, peacock blues, apple green, and black.
I will blog about this.
I’ve blogged, so add my extra entries, please! I really need this fabric.

I think, the Rose Lugana would be great for an LHN project, I think something pattern with roses; the Hand Dyed Solo I’d use for an autumn pattern and the grey linen would be good for a winter theme!

thanks!
I’m now subscrided to your blog.
The Rose fabric would be great to do the new Prairie Schooler one, the one with the cancer ribbon.
I love the pewter and the peach. I can envision a LHN design on those two. I’m just not real sure which.
As for the orange, I can see Witches Stitch too from Waxing Moon on that one.
I have become a fan on facebook!
I would love to stitch a halloween piece on each of the orange and grey. I just love the marbled effect on the orange! As for the Rose, I have a gorgeous rose sampler that would look lovely on it! Just need to dig it out! And the peach is a lovely colour for something monochrome! I have plenty of designs for that just not quite sure which ones will suit best! Or maybe a Lizzie Kate design of some sort it’s just too hard to decide when there are so many lovely designs out there to choose from! That’s quite a long answer actually, Thanks for getting me thinking! Now to dig out my charts!
