Yeah, I agree with foil art, the government has gone too far with this new law. I can’t believe this is even happening. Why can’t they just focus on where the problem was, like china. They have the old philosophy of “shoot em all and let god sort em out!”

Hmmm…this is a slippery slope. I certainly don’t think the government needs to get involved. What I would like to see is a private company that specializes in children’s toy testing. Companies could then get a type of certification they could slap on their product to insure consumers of it’s safety. Consumers then would be tasked with only buying those products that had said certification. Am I dreaming? Probably. I just don’t like the government dealing with this.

Thanks for the info, the twitter feed and the URL for the petition. CPSIA really hurts the ‘extra’ income for so many WAHMs. Why should smaller people like us pay price for the low quality goods imported by big players? Rather, the imported toys should be banned. let us spend more time spreading this message.
