giving gifts to your crafty chic

Thank you for coming back to visit us again! Have you been to our main site, Stitching the Night Away to check out our free cross stitch patterns and cross stitch supplies?

When things like my birthday and the holidays roll around I am always told that I’m hard to shop for. This past year I think something must have hit my husband in the head like a brick because he had zero problems finding me something that I would love. I’ve never been the type for things like diamond rings, in fact I don’t even have a diamond engagement ring. I didn’t want one and he knew it. Of course that might have been a sigh of relief coming from his wallet at some point.
So, what do you get a gal like me anyhow? Well a gift card is good, a day at the spa is nice, even we not so girly girls like to get pampered. And a new sewing machine is definitely a good gift! Which is what I got, and sadly it is sitting in the corner neglected right now. I am setting a goal right now in front of all of you to un-neglect my poor sewing machine.
Now, obviously if your crafty chic doesn’t sew then you might not want to get her a sewing machine. Unless of course she mentioned wanting to give it a try! This is a great model pictured (aka my sewing machine!) it pretty much does everything for you, just put the fabric in and push the pedal. You could make a pillow with your eyes closed. I don’t really recommend that though, you might pinch your finger!
