Springtime is all about getting back outside, gardening, and enjoying the fresh air! While browsing Etsy (by now you know that’s a favorite pass-time for me) the colors in these pictures caught my eye. Who knew that there were so many options and garden inspirations on Etsy!

HeirloomsRUsSeeds seeds all sorts of seeds for the garden, be it a flower, herb, or vegetable garden.

The bright colors of the Swiss Chard to the left here are just one example of the unique types of vegetables you can find seeds for in HeirloomsRUsSeeds’ Etsy shop. There are currently over 70 different types of vegetable seeds available, plus they list “seed survival kits” for those with small garden spaces to grow in. You could be quite crafty in creating a colorful garden, that’s not only beautiful, but feeds your family as well!

I browsed through some of the 25+ different heirloom herb seeds, and was surprised at how colorful some of the flowering herbs can be, like the garlic chives below. Gave me all sorts of ideas!

I think as far as colorful is concerned, in the garden flowers rule! And when you think about it, this is where knowing a little about color theory can pay off. HeirloomsRUsSeeds lists close to 25 floral seed varieties. Look at the beautiful colors in the Larkspur below.

Thanks for sharing this interesting information! I have been searching for something that will transform the bare corner at the back of my condo Austin into something lively and colorful. I didn’t know that there are herbs and vegetable plants that can promote liveliness in a certain area of the house. After reading this post, I am thinking of creating a mini-garden out of the bare corner located at the back of my place.

The Swiss Chards look amazing. I can’t wait to try them out in my vegetable garden. I always planted my vegetables in the backyard and my flowers in the front, but these vegetables look like they could pass in my front yard! Using my iPhone gardening app, I’m going to try and incorporate these strategically into my yard! Well… as soon as I get my hands on them.
