When I was browsing around on Etsy the other day looking for something I came across Kishy’s Needlepoint Shop full of beautiful, unique needlepoint canvases. I’ve only ever done one needlepoint canvas before, but seeing this Beloved Owls hand painted canvas really makes me want to give it a go again. I’ve just always preferred cross stitch to needlepoint, I don’t know why.
I LOVE owls of all kinds since my early childhood when I’ve been brought to the zoo and saw two tiny ones (size of a kid’s fist) there… The canvas above is soooo cute, so adorable… I would love to try making such a pillow when I have some free time…
I agree, that is darling. I did cross stitch when I was younger but never needlepoint, so I’m not sure I could undertake this project. I am, however, getting ready to teach myself how to knit, so perhaps I’ll get back to cross stitching one day.
