2007travel projects?
Filed Under (Misc Happens) by Loretta on 04-11-2007

I thought of this today because my blogging crafty friend Cass (and quite a few others) are headed to Vegas this month. I used to always have an “on the go” project that I took with me pretty much everywhere in a tote bag. These days my tote bag has just been sitting by desk. I do have a small project tucked away in a pocket in my laptop bag! But, how often do I pick that up and go somewhere with it? Not often enough. The moral of this story is that I need to leave the house more -lol- Do you have a specific travel project that you take with you places or do you focus more on one project no matter where you are?

Hi Loretta,
I never really got into carrying projects around with me. I’d take them and they’d sit in the bag untouched! I struggle to stitch in a small space though, I need everything spread around me and a mug of coffee by my side!
it all depends on ‘elbow room’. When I take family members to the doctor, I take small things like Christmas ornaments. On trips, I take larger projects.
Ornaments were my favorite travel project because I could keep more than one in the bag!
My answer’s too long, so I replied on my blog instead
Thanks for the post idea!
