Online Craft Club ~ quilt blocks!
Well, I did it. I found the power cord! It must have gotten mixed up in the move and was located in a bow of random plugs, cords, and extra usb wires. So I plugged in and decided it was time to get back into making quilt blocks. I figured since it’s been so long since I’ve done any sewing at all I should probably do some practice pieces before I get too serious again. So I got out some old fabric and started cutting.
The result of my efforts for the day were three very crooked and poorly pieced quilt blocks in pretty fall colors mixed with leftover denim. They’re nothing to write home about, and certainly not worthy of entering a Branson Missouri craft fair, but it’s a start. I think I have enough of these fabrics to make a small quilt, but I haven’t actually measured yet so I’m not sure. We’ll just keep sewing and see what we get.
That’s it for now. What did you craft on this week? Join us in the Online Craft Club.

All I can say to keep your squares ’square’ is watch your measuring, your cutting & your seam allowance. One of those out even 1/8″ can throw you entire block off.
Yay, for getting back in the groove. I’ll refrain from giving advice, since my nine patch has similar issues. It’ll come back, though, and I bet it doesn’t take long. I like the color mix there. The addition of the denim really helps the eye flow over the blocks.
Yeah Loretta!!
I will also refain from giving any advice until I get my camera up and running again tomorrow so I can take pics of my two quilts that I have on the go. LOL
