So, do you sew buttons? By hand or by machine? Cass posted a nice pictorial on her knitting blog today in regards to sewing a button on a shirt. It reminded me that I forgot to sew a button on a pair of pants that are sitting on top of the dryer back home. I hope Brian doesn’t knock them down and lose the button under the dryer before he gets my email in the morning….
For the record I do my button sewing by hand even though my sewing machine would stitch it up for me lickity split. Now button holing is completely different, I need the machine’s help there for sure.

  1. I love how-to’s… this one is particularly funny to me considering
i have probably 20 items of clothing that need buttons. LOL…
I’m always putting stuff like that off…

  2. I tend to sew them on by hand although, my new machine does sew them on pretty nifty. I just don’t sew buttons often enough that I would remember how to do it on the machine. :-)
