2007where are your craft supplies?

Mine currently reside in the office after much moving and rearranging of things. I’m not fortunate enough to have a craft room or a sewing room, though one of the houses our real estate agent showed us had both an office and a sewing room and without knowing I had tons of craft stuff she pointed it out and addressed it as a “craft and sewing room” and that totally impressed me. I have a dresser type thing that is over there in the corner that now has my sewing supplies, my cross stitch supplies, all the kids craft things, and some miscellaneous fabric that I had. Now if only I had the time to use it all I’d be super happy. Time to retire young and go into seclusion and just make quilts all day….
Seriously though, where do you store your craft supplies? Are they hidden in a corner somewhere or out in the open so that you can use them on a daily basis? Did you find a creative way to store them in the living room? Or are they in rolling bins under your bed?

I too have some old dressers that I have used to store my craft supplies in. I also find that I create better when I have a dedicated craft space. So recently I converted my dining room (cause I like creating much more than I like cooking) into a studio space.
Over the years I have tried many combinations of creative storage, bins, shelves etc. I like having my creative space totally accessible and taking out bins and setting things up to be creative somehow always diminishes my creative time.
Having a permanent space, with many things out and available, I now find my creativity is more enjoyable.
My creativity is vital to who I am and it needs a space where it can flourish, that is no longer in a box or a container. It works for me!
I’m a “in bins under the bed” person.
Under the bed is typically wasted space anyhow, so might as well put it to good use.
