Yes, I’m serious. I miss being able to sit out on the porch and talk with my best friend, have a pitcher of iced tea, stitch while our kids ran around in the yard, and just stitch on whatever projects scream the loudest. Then you sit there and b.s. about everything and anything and laugh so hard tears stream down your face and you need incontinence supplies because you drank the whole darn pitcher of tea!

Hi thanks for stopping by my blog, I think you should expand you network, if you are still thinking about doing it. When I started One of a Kind- I really focused on books (out of print and rare- focusing on children’s books too) and I felt too limited. I just recently expanded into more vintage items and I am a lot happier now. It feels a lot less constrained at a lot more fun. Speaking of X-stitch I posted on Smart not Cheap about 7 thrifty items you could find on eBay and one was cross stitch patterns of Paris Hilton, Anna Nicole Smith, and more… I about died when I saw these listings on eBay. It takes like a million years to stitch these kind of kits. Who is going to sit around and stitch a picture of Paris Hilton and her little dog??? hee hee -Michelle
ROFL about the kits ~ they are a time consuming stitch sometimes but with being all whole stitches they do tend to go a little fast for such a large project. I definitely would not want to stitch Paris Hilton for any reason… but I’m sure there’s at least one person out there that does. Have to be careful buying patterns on ebay, I’ve seen so much copywrite infringement on there it’s pathetic. Blah.
