When I am in stitching mode one of the things I like to do is pop a movie in the DVD player. I think I stitched 80% of Dracolair’s Ouroboros while watching Harry Potter movies! Of course every purple stitch was well worth the finished product and I love watching those DVD’s over and over again so it was a win-win situation for me. In fact those are probably my favorite stitching movies. Maybe if I pop them in this weekend I’ll get back into stitching mode again!

I used to try to stitch at night while watching tv with the hubby, but I’ve given up all my favorite tv shows. I was finding myself doing more snacking than anything and just felt unproductive. I’ll watch a show or two now and then but I haven’t watched any of my favorites like Grey’s Anatomy and CSI that I get all addicted to and watch every.single.week.

Admittedly these days I find myself more watching movies in my free time than doing any stitching. And I don’t even get to see all the movies I want to see. Ugh. I need like an extra 24 hours per day and I’ll be all set. I like to check out a couple movie reviews before I see a movie, or rent a movie just to see what other people are saying. Critics Rant has some good ones, and there are plenty of movie themed blogs on the net to check out too, and you’ll even find a handful or two of reviews that I wrote on my personal blog. But, when there’s a movie in theaters that I really want to see and can’t afford to go see it or get to it I have to avoid movie discussions on blogs and the forums so I don’t accidentally run into a spoiler or two, or five! Spoilers are everywhere, ack!
