It’s no secret that Sally’s designs are among my favorites so I might be a bit biased in this weeks pick for chart of the week. Faith Hope Love brings lots of gift ideas to mind every time I see it. I always see this as a beautiful wedding gift, stitched in the bridal party colors and either framed or sewn into a cushion. This is just one of many of the intricate blackwork designs you’ll find from Stitchin’spiration. There are tons to choose from including celtic knotwork designs, bookmarks, garden paths, and if you’re really up for something different the blackwork mazes are awesome. I have so many of these in my to stitch pile, and I’ve stitched a few models for Sally as well and they are all fabulous projects.

  1. What a lovely piece! The moment I saw this picture, I thought the same thing as you, that it would make a lovely wedding gift but never thought about doing it in the same colour scheme as the wedding itself - that’s sheer genius!! My cousin’s kid’s wedding coming up next month… hmm… wish I could stitch faster… ;-)

  2. That’s is just awesome. I knit rather than quilt, but I really appreciate hand work and beauty.
