cat afghan cross stitch pattern by GraphworksThis weeks pick for Chart of the Week is an afghan for all our cat loving stitchers out there. These curious kitties go from block to block playing between the lines in this design by Graphworks. Stitching an afghan may seem like a difficult and challenging project at first, but they can be a lot of fun to stitch and the end result is always great. Most are actually of pretty simple patterns, and the afghans are generally the equivalent to 14 count aida or 28 count evenweave depending on which you purchase. Just take it one block at a time and think of it as individual mini projects for each square. Maybe even rotate projects, stitching one square on the afghan and the working on something else for awhile.

  1. Hi, it’s my first time here. Thx for dropping by Fibre Art. I’ve not tried evenweave before. And yes, i love those kitties. But i think they’d look nice on anything even if it’s not an afghan, right.

  2. Hi

Love the afghan how do we get the pattern?

  3. Pattern is available from needlework shops both online and offline. If your local shop doesn’t have it, they can often order it for you. Just ask ;)
