I found this charity interesting. W often take the use of our hands for granted when being creative. I vaguely remember seeing a movie/documentary about a program similar to this when I was younger, and I can’t for the life of me remember what it was called. Helping Hands monkey’s are trained to assist with daily living for people with paralysis, spinal cord injuries, and other severe disabilities. In addition to the help they provide they also conduct public education programs that teach kids and teens how to avoid risky behavior that can lead to spinal cord injury. There is a monkey foster care program as well, which is an important part of helping the monkeys grow up to be able to assist people in the future.
