stitching for a cure

This Relay for Life ribbon designed by Patricia Gregory is available at Patterns Online for only $5.00 and all profits from sales of these designs will be donated to the American Cancer Society at the Relay for Life Race in April. There are four versions of this ribbon, this one the main Relay for Life, then additionally you can stitch it as Caregiver, Fighter, and Survivor.

To learn more about Relay for Life you can visit their website. More than 3.5 million Americans take part in Relay For Life! That’s a lot of relay walkers and a great cause. Read about the history of Relay for Life, this is one of my top five favorite charities and events. You may even remember seeing it featured on Extreme Makeover Home Edition, one of the best episodes they did this past year. Grab a ribbon, support the cause, and help find a cure. Find a relay event near you to get involved.

I think it is great when people get involved on a no profit level to help some important charities. There are several people at my office that get heavily involved in events to raise money for the Susan G Komen (komen.org) charity and I am going to support them through every event.

Keep up the good work, I will pass that pattern info around to people.
