Do you like to buy “chartpacks” that include charms, buttons, and/or beads or do you prefer to gather all materials yourself?

It depends on what I’m buying. Like for Pirate Treasure by Lynne Nicolleti there are specific charms that I don’t think can be purchased elsewhere, so I’m grateful for those “special” charms. Having charms and beads that come with the chart saves me from hunting down to those hard to find items. Now, if it’s just a pack of Mill Hill seed beads that I need, no biggie I’ll buy those and save any that are left over for another project or for my test stitching of my own designs. Supplies will never go to waste here, so having extra is okay with me.
