Our chart of the week pick for this week is by Crossed Wing. The boys picked up a bit of a bird watching hobby from my grandfather, and hummingbirds are without a doubt their favorite to watch. And with good reason too, they are fascinating little birds to see in flight. This black-chinned hummingbird is the ninth design in the Crossed Wing Hummingbird Collector series. Of course that’s not all Cross Wing has to offer! If you’re looking to try a little bit of the Cross Wing design style they offer some great free cross stitch patterns to try out as well. Christmas Cardinal, Anna’s Hummingbird, and Great Grey Owl are all awesome freebies, and if you’re a bird lover you’ll definitely enjoy stitching them.

That’s a really nice design, our new house has a hummingbird nectar dispenser in the back yard and the previous owner left us some hummingbird nectar to pour into it! We are hoping to spot some very soon.
